What is the program?
In California, the Spiritual Journey is an eight-month program that supports participants exploring their personal spiritual lives in a small group setting, deeply enriching their relationship with God/Spirit and recognizing the ways that God is present and working in their lives. A trained facilitator accompanies members in developing their skills in deep listening and personal discernment.
Here you can explore contemplative ways of paying attention to your life, cultivate awareness of how you respond to “The More” beckoning you to grow in self-understanding, sample varied forms of prayer and reflection, and experiment with new ways to uncover and converse about spiritual experiences.
Participants are introduced to the deep and expansive practices of spiritual formation, the ancient practice of spiritual direction, and a process of discernment for the next steps in their spiritual journey.
This program serves as the prerequisite to Stillpoint's intensive training program in The Art of Spiritual Direction.
Who is it for?
The Spiritual Journey Program is open to people of all denominations and faiths who are seeking to go deeper in their spiritual walk. We are rooted in the Christian tradition and we welcome a diverse and inclusive learning community.
When & where is it?
This year’s groups begin the end of September 2018 and continue through May/June 2019. (Subsequent dates are scheduled at the first meeting.)

What is the commitment?
The program consists of eight (8) 5-hour sessions that meet once a month. Sessions include time for personal reflection, sharing in pairs and triads, experience-based learning, group discussion of assigned readings, and practice in forms of prayer and contemplation
What does it cost?
Tuition of $400 includes all instruction, facilitated group interaction, and private sessions with faculty.
